TYRO (studios), Shipley, Bradford, West Yorkshire, a stone’s throw from the UNESCO World Heritage site, Saltaire, is a studio space hosting a curated range of creative workshops and events. Our workshops include, but are not limited to watercolour painting, hand-building pottery, macramé, jesmonite casting and so much more. We even have an in-person book club!
Our workshops and events are always fully inclusive; expert tuition, all your materials, chocolate and refreshments: red and white wine plus of course, gorgeous non-alcoholic alternatives. Our workshops and events run for approximately 2 hours and where applicable, you take home whatever you make or the tools to keep practising at home. The space is beautiful and calm and the perfect escape for a couple of hours of creativity.
However, we also host our workshops in locations around Yorkshire including Anthropologie in Leeds, The Brick Yard in Brighouse and many more locations (see our EVENTBRITE page for our external events)
We host corporate workshops for team building and bonding in both our studio or we can come to you office space and finally, we host celebrations: birthday parties, bridal showers and baby showers. Where you get private use of the studio, a creative workshop of your choice, cake, balloons and sparkling wine for your and your guests!
